Kia Ora Billie-Mae Thank you for sharing these facts you have learned about the Paralympics. I think that it is amazing that we can celebrate diversity and include amazing athletes in a worldwide sporting event who have overcome spectacular disabilities. Was there any one athlete who stood out to you? Ma te wa Mrs Aperahama
Kia Ora Billie-Mae I really like how your first fact is words to describe our athletes and the qualities they have, Very well done. Our country now has 8 medals! 3 Gold 3 Silver and 2 Bronze! Did you know that the medals have brail encrypted onto them for visually impaired athletes? My favorite games to watch so far have been the Wheel Blacks in the wheelchair rugby and the swimming events. Did you know Sophie Pascoe holds 3 medals so far? Thank you for sharing your wonderful work Billie-Mae. Ma te wa Mrs Tamatea
Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments: Positive - something done well. Thoughtful - a sentence to let me know that you have read, watched or listened to my blog. Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question.
